A musician’s true strength lies within both their artistic versatility and their willingness to adapt their creative approach when needed, and having already reviewed two effective country ballads from talented group Swan White Rose, their new rockabilly offering “Mad Train” serves as a welcome change of direction that steams in with a refreshing gust of energy.
Whilst firmly rooted in the genre’s authentic sound, there’s an undeniably modern edge to how Swan White Rose approaches the style and sound of the track, and thanks to its infectious energy, tasteful guitar licks, pulsating grooves, and amiable vocal performance, the band are able to whisk up a particularly electrifying sense of atmosphere, one that lovers of the Rockabilly genre will surely appreciate.
